Following the momentum last year with the Boulder County Commissioner's raising the minimum wage to $25/hr by 2030 in unincorporated Boulder County, we're gearing up to push more cities to follow the Commissioner's lead to pass minimum wage ordinances this year.

Coalition co-chairs, Meghan Carrier w/ Together Colorado and Alejandra Beatty, President of BALC, and I have started tracking positions, meeting with stakeholders, and strategizing ways for our coalition to engage.

As a reminder, right now, there is a multi-city led process in place to explore minimum wage increases across the County in the following cities: City of Boulder, Longmont, Louisville, Lafayette, and Erie. Since last year, we've been engaging in a process to map out the community engagement efforts and economic analysis. This work will take place throughout the spring and will wrap up around May. This includes a community-wide survey and listening sessions in each of the local governments which will be launched soon.
